Vikings Cut DB Cedric Thompson From Their Practice Squad

The Minnesota Vikings announced Saturday that they’ve released DB Cedric Thompson from their practice squad.

Thompson, 23, is a former fifth-round pick of the Dolphins in 2015. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason last year, but was added to the Dolphins’ practice squad at the start of the season.

The Patriots would later sign him to their active roster before bringing him back on a future/reserve contract this past January. New England decided to waive Thompson back in August.

The Vikings signed him to their practice squad last month.

Thompson has yet to appear in an NFL game.
