Vikings & Dolphins Scheduled To Meet With OT Jermon Bushrod

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that free agent OT Jermon Bushrod is scheduled to meet with the Dolphins and Vikings this year.

According to La Canfora, there’s “ample” interest in Bushrod, even after he underwent shoulder surgery.

It’s worth mentioning that signing Bushrod to a contract wouldn’t factor into a team’s 2017 compensatory picks.

Bushrod, 31, was entering the fourth year of his five-year, $35.965 million contract that included $22.465 million guaranteed when the Bears released him a move that freed up $4.3 million in available cap space.

He’s now an unrestricted free agent in a limited market for offensive tackles.

In 2015, Bushrod appeared in 12 games for the Bears. However, he was limited to playing just 238 total snaps this past season.
