The Carolina Panthers waived OT Davonte Wallace from the injured reserve list on Friday, according to the NFL transactions release.
Wallace, 23, originally signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of New Mexico State back in May of last year. He was waived with the injury designation just a few months later and placed on season-ending injured reserve.
Miami elected to cut him loose a few weeks before this year’s draft, but he later caught on with the Panthers in July. Unfortunately, Wallace was among the Panthers’ early roster cuts and later reverted to the injured reserve list after clearing waivers.
Wallace has yet to appear in an NFL game.
