Chargers Sign DB Adrian Phillips To Practice Squad, Cut WR Shane Wynn

The San Diego Chargers signed DB Adrian Phillips to their practice squad on Friday, according to the NFL transactions release.

• The Chargers also released WR Shane Wynn from their practice squad.

The Chargers’ practice squad currently consists of:

2. TE Tim Semisch
3. DT Chuka Ndulue
4. TE Sean McGrath
5. G Craig Watts
6. WR Isaiah Burse
7. DE Ben Gardner
8. RB Dreamius Smith 
9. QB Brad Sorensen
10. OT Andrew McDonald
11. TE Alex Bayer (Injured)

Phillips, 23, signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Texas back in May of last year. He’s been on and off of the Chargers’ practice squad since then, so it’s not a surprise to see him back on their taxi squad.

This season, Phillips has appeared in six games and recorded 12 tackles for the Chargers.
