The Redskins announced Tuesday that they’ve promoted CB Jeremy Harris to their active roster and waived TE Je’Ron Hamm.
Harris, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2013. He lasted a little over two years with the Jaguars before he was among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
This season, Harris has had brief stints with the Chiefs and Jets before catching on to the Redskins’ practice squad close to a month ago.
In 2014, Harris appeared in six games and recorded five tackles for the Jaguars.
