“Not Looking Good” For Steelers WR Antonio Brown To Play Against Broncos

Bob Holtzman of ESPN is reporting that it’s “not looking good” for Steelers WR Antonio Brown to play in Sunday’s game against the Broncos after he sustained a concussion this past weekend.

Brown took a hard hit over the middle towards the end of Saturday’s win over the Bengals. Reports from earlier in the day confirmed that Brown is in the league’s concussion protocol, so there was a chance that he may not have enough time to get clearance for their upcoming playoff game.

Brown, 27, is in the fourth year of his six-year, $43.04 million contract that included an $8.5 million signing bonus. He’ll make a base salary of $6 million this season and another $8.25 million  in 2016.

In 2015, Brown appeared in all 16 games for the Steelers and caught 136 passes for 1,834 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns.
