According to Tony Pauline of Draftanalyst.com, there were 16 teams on hand for West Virginia WR Marcus Simms‘ Pro Day on Monday.
Pauline says the list of teams included the Jaguars, Saints, Seahawks, Colts, Jets, Redskins, Chiefs, Browns, Eagles, Lions, Packers and Falcons. Pauline adds that the 49ers and Vikings had their scouting directors on hand and the Ravens had their personnel director in attendance.
Beyond that, Raiders GM Mike Mayock was reportedly there to watch Simms work out.
Pauline reports that Simms measured in at 5-11 and 188 pounds and posted a vertical jump of 36 includes to go along with a broad jump of 10-feet-2.5-inches. He also posted 40 times of 4.49, 4.45 and 4.40 seconds.
Simms is one of four players who have entered the 2019 supplemental draft that will be held later this month.
Pauline previously reported that Simms received a sixth-round grade by NFL scouts, but has a “lot of character issues.”
Simms, 6-0, 194lb, has played three seasons at West Virginia. He has totaled 87 receptions for 1,457 yards receiving and eight touchdowns to go along with four rushing yards on two carries over the course of 26 games.
As a returner, Simms has totaled 992 kick return yards and 157 punt return yards and no touchdowns.
