The San Francisco 49ers announced Tuesday that they’ve signed LS Colin Holba off of the Rams’ practice squad and activated TE Charlie Woerner from the COVID-19 List.
The 49ers were forced to place LS Taybor Pepper on the COVID-19 list Monday, so they clearly needed some help at the position.
Woerner, 23, was selected with the 190 overall pick in the sixth round of this year’s draft. He’s currently in the first year of his four-year, $3.47 million contract.
In 2020, Woerner has appeared in 13 games for the 49ers and caught two passes for 33 yards and no touchdowns.
