49ers DE Nick Bosa was named the Associated Press 2019 Defensive Rookie of the Year Saturday night at the NFL Honors show.

Bosa, 22, was selected by the 49ers with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft by the 49ers. He finished the first year of his four-year, $33,551,874 rookie contract that included a $22,421,364 signing bonus. 

In 2019, Bosa appeared in all 16 games for the 49ers and recorded 47 total tackles, 16 tackles for loss, nine sacks, one interception, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and two pass defenses.
