Toilolo, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Falcons back in 2013. He was entering the second year of his three-year, $12 million contract that included $4.5 million guaranteed and set to make base salaries of $3.5 million and $4 million over the final two years of the agreement when the Falcons designated Toilolo as a post-June 1st release.
In 2018, Toilolo caught 21 passes for 263 yards receiving and one touchdown over the course of 16 games for the Lions. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 29 tight end of out of 70 qualifying players.
