According to Ian Rapoport, the 49ers are expected to sign WR River Cracraft to the roster.
Cracraft was one of a number of receivers who worked out for San Francisco and Rapoport says the team could sign more to the roster.
Cracraft, 25, wound up signing on to the Broncos’ practice squad in 2017 as an undrafted free agent out of Washington State. He was released shortly after with an injury settlement but returned at the end of the season to the taxi squad.
Cracraft was released coming out of the preseason in 2018 and re-signed to the Broncos practice squad. He bounced on and off before eventually signing on to the Eagles’ practice squad last year.
Philadelphia brought Cracraft back on a future contract his past January before waiving him in April.
In 2018, Cracraft appeared in eight games for the Broncos and caught one pass for 44 yards. He also added 43 kickoff return yards and 40 punt return yards.
