According to Matt Maiocco, the 49ers placed DT Jullian Taylor on season-ending injured reserve after sustaining a torn ACL and promoted DL Kevin Givens from their practice squad in a corresponding move.
Taylor announced on Twitter that he, in fact, will miss the remainder of the regular and postseason.

Matt Barrows of the Athletic reported yesterday that Taylor suffered a knee injury during Thursday’s practice and underwent an MRI, so this does not come as a surprise.
Taylor, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the 49ers back in 2018. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $2.55 million contract.
In 2019, Taylor appeared in six games for the 49ers and recorded nine tackles, no sacks, a fumble recovery and a pass defense.
