49ers WR Kendrick Bourne signed his restricted free agent tender, locking him in for the 2020 season with San Francisco.
The 49ers had previously placed a second-round tender on Bourne at $3.27 million for the 2020 season. It ensures they get a second-round pick should they decline to match an offer sheet from another team.
Bourne, 24, signed with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Washington in 2017. He signed a three-year, $1.66 millin deal and made the final roster each of the past three seasons.
Bourne will be an unrestricted free agent following the 2020 season.
In 2019, Bourne played in all 16 games for the 49ers and caught 30 passes for 358 yards and five touchdowns.
