49ers Re-Sign TE Logan Paulsen

The San Francisco 49ers have re-signed veteran TE Logan Paulsen a day after cutting him loose, according to Cam Inman.

This is the second time this year that the 49ers have released Paulsen only to re-sign him a day later.

Paulsen, 30, signed on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA back in 2012. Washington re-signed him to a three-year deal in 2013.

Unfortunately for Paulsen, he was placed on season-ending injured reserve at the start of the 2015 season and subsequently missed the entire year with a toe injury. The Bears signed him to a one-year contract last year.

San Francisco signed him to a contract this past March but wound up releasing him coming out of the preseason. It proved to be just a temporary move, as the 49ers re-signed Paulsen a day later.

In 2017, Paulsen has appeared in all six games for the 49ers but has yet to catch a pass.
