The San Francisco 49ers announced that they have signed fourth-round P Mitch Wishnowsky to a four-year rookie contract. He is the first player from the 2019 NFL Draft to sign his contract.

Wishnowsky, 27, was among the oldest players available in the 2019 NFL Draft and joined the University of Utah after growing up in Australia. He won the Ray Guy Award for the best punter in the country in 2016 and was also a unanimous selection to the All-American team in 2016.
According to OverTheCap.com, Wishnowsky received a four-year, $3,309,660 deal that includes a $789,660 signing bonus.
