The San Francisco 49ers announced Sunday that they’ve signed G Chris Gonzalez to a one-year deal and waived S Corey Griffin.
Gonzalez, 23, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of San Jose State back in May. Unfortunately, the Vikings elected to cut Gonzalez loose last week.
During his college career at San Jose State, Gonzalez appeared in 44 games and made 36 starts across the offensive line. He was an Honorable Mention All-Mountain West as a senior.
