The San Francisco 49ers announced Friday that they’ve signed LB Jayson DiManche to a contract.
DiManche, 26, originally signed on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Illinois back in 2013. He was waived/injured during the first round of roster cuts at the start of the 2015 season and eventually released from injured reserve with a settlement.
The Browns wound up signing DiManche off of the Bengals practice squad during the 2015 season, but he later returned to the Bengals’ practice squad and was brought back on a reserve/future’s contract.
DiManche was, unfortunately, waived from Cincinnati as they trimmed down to 75 players during the preseason last year.
In 2015, DiManche appeared in one game but did not record a single statistic.
