The San Francisco 49ers announced Tuesday that they have signed OL Colin Kelly to their practice squad and placed OL Fahn Cooper on the Practice Squad Injured List.
The 49ers’ practice squad now consists of:
- LB Marcus Rush
- OL Fahn Cooper
- OL Alex Balducci
- CB Prince Charles Iworah
- OL Norman Price
- RB Kelvin Taylor
- LB Curtis Grant
- WR DeAndre Smelter
- DB Vinnie Sunseri
- WR Mose Frazier
Kelly, 26, signed a reserve/future contract with San Francisco back in January and participated in the team’s training camp. However, he was cut loose coming out of the preseason and later signed on to the Bears’ practice squad a few weeks into the regular season.
Chicago elected to cut him loose last week.
Kelly has yet to appear in an NFL game.
