Rand Getlin reports that the 49ers have reached an agreement with QB Thad Lewis on a one-year deal.
Lewis, 28, originally signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Duke back in 2010. He’s since played for several teams including the Browns, Lions, Bills, Texans, Browns and most recently for the Eagles.
In 2013, Lewis appeared in six games for the Bills and threw for 1,092 yards while completing 59.2 percent of his passes to go along with four touochdowns and three interceptions.
