The San Francisco 49ers announced Wednesday that they’ve signed WR Deontay Burnett to their practice squad and released WR Malik Henry from the unit.

- WR Deontay Burnett
Burnett, 22, originally signed on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of USC back in 2018. He was among Tennessee’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and signed with the Jets’ practice squad a couple of days later.
Burnett was on and off of the Jets’ roster last year.
In 2018, Burnett appeared in five games for the Jets and caught 10 passes for 143 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
During his three-year college career, Burnett recorded 152 receptions for 1,897 yards receiving (12.5 YPC) and 16 touchdowns.
