The San Francisco 49ers are signing RB/KR Raheem Mostert to their practice squad on Monday, according to his agent Brett Tessler.
- Rand Getlin reports that the 49ers have released RBย Kelvin Taylor from the unit.
The Brownsโ practice squad now consists of:
- LB Marcus Rush
- OL Fahn Cooper (injured)
- OL Alex Balducci
- CB Prince Charles Iworah
- OL ย Norman Price
- RB/KR Raheem Mostert
- LB Curtis Grant
- WR DeAndre Smelter
- WR Mose Frazier
- OT Colin Kelly
- DB Marcus Ball
Mostert, 24, wound up signing on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Purdue back in May. However, he was unfortunately among the Eagles’ final roster cuts.
Mostert later caught on with the Dolphins and Ravens in brief stints before he was placed on waivers and later claimed by the Browns back in December of last year.
The Browns brought him back on a one-year, exclusive rights deal before cutting him loose a few weeks ago. After a brief stint with the Jets, the Bears signed him to their practice squad a few weeks later. However, he was cut loose last week.
This season, Mostert has been active for two games but has yet to record a single statistic.
