The 49ers announced on Thursday they’ve waived DB Alex Brown from the 90-man roster.

Brown, 5-11 and 170 pounds, signed with San Francisco as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina State back in May after Brown participated in the team’s rookie minicamp.
Undrafted free agents are expected to sign three-year, $1.755 million contracts in 2019.
As a senior, Brown started all 11 games in 2018 and recorded 42 tackles, one sack, four interceptions and eight pass defenses.
