The San Francisco 49ers announced Tuesday that they have waived FB Alex Debniak.
Debniak, 24, was a 2013 undrafted free agent out of Stanford and missed the entire season after sustaining a torn Achilles injury, which subsequently led to him being placed on the injured-reserve list.
The 49ers apparently did not have enough room on roster for a third-string fullback with injury issues, especially after they re-signed FB Bruce Miller to a three-year extension.
