The San Francisco 49ers officially waived G J.P. Flynn from injured reserve on Saturday.
Flynn, 25, wound up signing on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Montana State back in 2017. He was waived coming out of the preseason and spent his rookie season on their practice squad.
San Francisco re-signed Flynn to a contract last July, but he was, unfortunately, waived with an injury designation coming out of the preseason. He later reverted to the 49ers’ injured reserve list after clearing waivers.
Flynn has yet to appear in an NFL game.
