The San Francisco 49ers brought in six free agents for tryouts on Monday, according to Albert Breer.
The full list of tryouts for the 49ers includes:
- DB Tino Ellis
- DB Marquis Bridges
- DE Ezekial Ansah
- DB Christian Angulo
- DB Brian Allen
- DB Teez Tabor
Ansah, 31, was taken with the No. 5 overall pick by the Lions back in 2013. He played out the final year of his four-year, $18.595 million rookie contract before the Lions picked up his fifth-year option.
Ansah made a base salary $12.7 million for the 2017 season before the Lions used the franchise tag that cost them around $17.5 million fully guaranteed for the 2018 season. He left after the year and signed a one-year deal with the Seahawks for the 2019 season.
In 2019, Ansah appeared in 11 games for the Seahawks and recorded 18 tackles, 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, two recoveries and two pass defenses.
We have him included in our Top 100 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
Allen, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Steelers back in 2017. He lasted just over two years in Pittsburgh before he was waived coming out of the preseason last year.
The Seahawks later signed Allen to their practice squad and he was on and off of the unit last year. Seattle opted to waive him a few weeks ago and he quickly signed on with the Bills this summer.
Unfortunately, Buffalo waived him coming out of training camp.
For his career, Allen has appeared in 16 games and recorded one tackle.
