49ers WR Braylon Edwards Out For 3 Weeks?

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that 49ers WR Braylon Edwardsis expected to miss three weeks following knee surgery.

Not really surprising but it won’t help an offense that’t struggling to move the ball in general.

San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh comment on WR Braylon Edwards by saying that “he’s gonna be out for a little bit,” after “having a little procedure done” on his right knee, per Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee.

Michael Crabtree has been limited with foot injury of his own so losing Edwards will impact the teams depth at wide receiver. San Francisco will need someone to step up if they’re going to be able to move the ball through the air.

Edwards could end up missing more than one game while he is recovering.
