Drew Rosenhaus Says “A Few Teams” Have Shown Interest In Antonio Brown

Drew Rosenhaus, the agent for free agent WR Antonio Brown, tells Adam Schefter that he already has had communication “with a few teams that are interested” in his client.

According to Rosenhaus, these teams “want information regarding his legal situation and the NFL investigation.”

Schefter adds that other people around the league believe that until the NFL’s investigation is resolved, a deal for Brown is unlikely to surface.

The NFL announced Friday that Brown can’t be placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt list as a free agent.

Brown allegedly sent harassing text messages to the unnamed accuser who recently shared allegations of his behavior after she was hired by him to paint a mural at his house.

The Patriots elected to release Brown soon after.

Brown, 31, is a former sixth-round pick of the Steelers back in 2010. He was in the third year of his five-year, $72.71 million contract when the Steelers traded him to the Raiders back in March.

The Raiders later signed Brown to a new contract worth $50.125 million and includes $30.125 million guaranteed. However, Oakland made the decision to release Brown a few weeks ago and he later signed a one-year deal worth up to $15 million with the Patriots.

Brown lasted just 11 days in New England.

In 2019, Brown appeared in one game for the Patriots and caught four passes for 56 yards receiving and one touchdown.

We’ll have more regarding Brown as the news is available.
