ESPN is reporting that Peterson is due in court on a misdemeanor charge on Friday. Peterson took to twitter last night, with the following tweets:

Jerome Solomon of the Houston Chronicle reports that Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson was arrested while in Houston on lastnight for resisting arrest.
Peterson’s bond was set at $1000, which seems like a pretty low number, so it’s safe to suggest that his offense wasn’t very serious. He’s been rehabbing in Houston throughout the offseason, so it’s not surprising that he was down there before the start of training camp. The bigger story is still related to the condition of his knee and whether or not he’ll be available for the start of the season.
