  • The Jets aren’t using a search firm, but have told people they could contact NFL Network personality and reporter Peter Schrager for assistance on candidates, according to Manish Mehta.
  • However, a Jets source tells Brian Costello the only conversations the team has had with Schrager center around him working a preseason broadcast for the team. 
  • According to the Athletic’s Connor Hughes, Eagles VP Joe Douglas continues to be No. 1 on the Jets’ wishlist for general manager.

Patriots

  • According to the Athletic’s Jeff Howe, Patriots OT Isaiah Wynn has looked good during the spring as he recovers from a torn Achilles. New England believes he’ll be ready for the season.
  • New DT Danny Shelton‘s one-year deal with the Patriots includes a $75,000 signing bonus, a base salary of $805,000 and up to $150,000 in incentives and bonuses. (Field Yates)
  • Patriots TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins will miss OTA’s with an excused absence. (Kevin Duffy)
