Despite reported interest from the 49ers, Patriots K Stephen Gostkowski said he always wanted to return to New England.
“You have to make decisions based on a multitude of factors, and every time I thought of what it would be like somewhere else, I always came back to how much I love it here,” Gostkowski said via ESPN’s Mike Reiss. “It’s a weird business, and you have to explore every option, but it was really tough for me to think I was ever going to leave.
