AFC North Notes: Bengals, Browns, Ravens

Bengals

Bengals HC Zac Taylor said he’s not surprised when quarterbacks go earlier than expected during the draft.

“I don’t think I’m ever surprised at how high the quarterbacks go,” Taylor said via Pro Football Talk. “There could be a lot of teams that often times don’t have a lot of first-round grades on guys that are going in the first round, and that’s just the nature of the business. It’s a critical position, so that doesn’t ever surprise me.”

  • Todd McShay believes there’s a “real possibility” the Bengals make a splash with a quarterback in the first round after speaking with sources around the league.
  • Otherwise, he mentions Michigan ILB Devin Bush as someone to watch.

Browns

Ravens

  • According to the Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec, Ravens K Justin Tucker said the Cowboys and Bears reached out to him when he was an undrafted free agent, but he had already made up his mind to sign with the Ravens.
