Bengals

Bengals HC Zac Taylor says he’s open to giving WR John Ross a chance to prove himself this year. 

“Let’s see what he can put on tape,” Taylor said via Pro Football Talk. “He was electric in college.”

• Although Bengals HC Zac Taylor said releasing RB Mark Walton wasn’t a “statement” move, he added that he prefers players who do things “the right way.” (Katherine Terrell)
• Taylor said he does not view being the last head coach to be hired this offseason as a “negative thing” and explained that he felt it was a benefit for them, as they were able to take their time in assembling their coaching staff. (Katherine Terrell)
• According to Ian Rapoport, N.C. State QB Ryan Finley is one of the only quarterbacks the Bengals have brought in for a visit. 
• The other is Central Connecticut State QB Jake Dolegala who visited Wednesday. (Rapoport)

Browns

• The Browns hosted Toledo WR Jon’Vea Johnson on a pre-draft visit. (Chase Goodbread)
• Colorado DT Javier Edwards has drawn interest from the Browns. (Aaron Wilson)

Steelers

• The Steelers hosted Wisconsin LB Andrew Van Ginkel for a top-30 visit on Wednesday. (Bob Labriola)
• LSU RB Nick Brossette has worked out for the Steelers. (Aaron Wilson)
