AFC Notes: Bengals, Chargers, Raiders

Bengals

• The Bengals have officially downgraded CB Dre Kirkpatrick (shoulder) to doubtful for Week 12.

Chargers

Chargers HC Anthony Lynn said he “absolutely” has confidence in kicker Michael Badgley after he missed an extra point last week.

“Oh, absolutely,” Lynn said, via ESPN.com. “Just look around this league, I mean, a lot of really good kickers will miss one every now and then, and he’s only missed one. So I have a lot of confidence in him.”

The Chargers have struggled to find a consistent kicker the past few years and while Badgley missed an extra point last week, he’s 8-of-8 on field goals tries and 10-of-11 on extra points attempts over the course of four games.

Raiders

Despite being questionable with a knee injury, Raiders WR Jordy Nelson believes he has a “pretty good chance” to suit up on Sunday.

“I think he has a pretty good chance to play,” Raiders coach Jon Gruden said, via Scott Bair of NBC Bay Area. “I don’t know how much, but we’ll see how it goes. Keon Hatcher will be ready to play.”
