Chiefs
Chiefs HC Andy Reid said he does not have any plans to scale back rookie RB Kareem Huntโs workload.
โNo, I think weโre okay with how weโre using him,โ Reid said, via the Kansas City Star. โI just go off of the feel I have and the experience, weโll be all right there.โ
- According to Ian Rapoport, Chiefs WR/KR DeโAnthony Thomas suffered a deep shoulder contusion on Sunday but has no structural damage and is considered day-to-day.
Dolphins
Dolphins HC Adam Gase was clearly disappointed with his teamโs offensive showing following their disappointing loss to the Jets this past weekend.
โA lot of bad football,โ Gase explained, via Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald. โMore mental errors than weโve had the last two years. Iโll find the guys that want to do it right, and those are the guys that will play.
โIโm upset about the way our offense played. Iโm just tired of watching it for two years. Just garbage. So, weโre going to figure something out.โ
Gase added that there was โnothingโ he liked from the teamโs offense on film.
โWeโll make the proper adjustments,โ Gase said. โWeโll probably make some changes. So figure out what weโve got to do, get that thing rolling. Iโve been watching it for two years. It hasnโt worked. So weโre going to figure some things out.โ
