- Albert Breer says that while the Texans franchised OLB Jadeveon Clowney, they are willing to listen to trade offers for him.
- However, John McClain says that the Texans want to sign Clowney to a long-term deal and there’s “no way they were going to let him walk away.” McClain says Houston plans to continue to negotiate with his agent Bus Cook.
