Cam Inman reports that 49ers QB Alex Smith has been cleared for non-contact drills following a concussion that he suffered against the Rams last Sunday.
Smith has a decent shot of playing against the Bears this weekend, but his performance in the team’s upcoming practices will probably determine his status for Week 11.
