According to Tom Pelissero, at least one NFL team is interested in interviewing Minnesota HC P.J. Fleck.
Fleck is one of a couple of college coaches who are expected to draw interest this coaching cycle. He holds the distinction of being one of the few college head coaches who has both played and coached in the NFL.
For teams interested in making a more unconventional hire, Fleck could have some appeal.
Fleck, 40, signed with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Illinois in 2004. He became a coach shortly afterward, spending time with Ohio State, NIU and Rutgers before joining the Buccaneers for a season as a WR coach.
Fleck was hired in 2013 as the head coach at Western Michigan. After four seasons, he was hired by Minnesota to be their head coach.
During his eight college seasons, Fleck has compiled a record of 56-41 as well as a 3-2 record in bowl games.
