Bears Brought In TEs Tony Moeaki & Ryan Taylor For Tryouts

Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that the Bears brought in a small group of tight ends for tryouts on Thursday including Tony Moeaki, Ryan Taylor and  Terenn Houk.

Moeaki, 29, is a former third-round of the Kansas City Chiefs back in 2010. Since then, he’s dealt with a number of injuries including knee operations and head injuries.

After brief stints with the Bills and Seahawks, Moeaki signed on with the Falcons in March of last year and has been testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent. However, this is the first reported interest in Moeaki.

In 2015, Moeaki appeared in 10 games for the Falcons and caught three passes for 58 yards receiving and a touchdown.

Taylor, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Packers back in 2011 out of North Carolina. He spent the first three years of his career with the Packers before he was waived in October of 2014.

Since then, Taylor has has played for a number of teams including the Ravens, Browns, Dolphins and most recently for the Chiefs.

In 2014, Taylor appeared 13 games, but did not record a single reception.
