Bears Made Two Moves, Signed OL Wesley French

The Chicago Bears announced they signed OL Wesley French to the roster.

In a corresponding move, the team waived DB Brandon Hill.

French, 30, went undrafted out of Western Michigan back in 2022 and caught on with the Colts soon after. He wound up making the 53-man roster in his rookie season as an undrafted free agent but did not see any action.

After playing out his three-year rookie contract, French re-signed with Indianapolis on a one-year pact in 2025. However, he was let go in August. He had stints with the Cowboys and Browns on the practice squad. 

In 2023, French played in 17 games for the Colts at center and made three total starts.
