The Chicago Bears announced Saturday night that they’ve placed DB Deon Bush on the COVID-19 list.
The Bears followed this up by announcing that they’ve also placed OL Lachavious Simmons on the COVID-19 list Saturday and activated OL Aaron Neary.
Bush has, of course, been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Titans.
The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Bush, 27, was drafted by the Bears in the fourth round out of Miami in 2016. He signed a four-year rookie contract worth $2.86 million and made a base salary of $720,000 in 2019.
Chicago brought Bush back on a one-year contract worth $4 million this past March.
