The Chicago Bears announced Friday that they’ve placed Sย Quintin Demps on injured reserve with a broken forearm.
Demps, 32, is a former fourth-round pick of the Eagles back in 2008. He spent just over two years in Philadelphia before he was cut atย the start of the 2010 season and later signed on with the Texans.

Demps departed Houston for aย three-year, $13.5 million contract that included $1.5 million guaranteed with the Bears this past March. He stands to make base salaries of $2.5 million and $3 million over the next two years.
In 2017, Demps has appeared in three games and recorded 12 tackles and no interceptions or pass defenses.ย Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 71 safety out of 83 qualifying players.
