Bears Promote DB Demontre Hurst To Active Roster, Waive DB Jacoby Glenn

The Chicago Bears have promoted DB Demontre Hurst to their active roster on Tuesday, according to Brad Biggs.

The Bears announced that they’ve waived DB Jacoby Glenn to make room for Hurst.

Hurst, 25, wound up going undrafted out of Oklahoma back in 2013 before signing on with the Bears. Hurst was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but has been on and off of their practice squad the past three seasons.

Hurst was in the final year of his two-year, $1.110 million contract when the Bears waived him coming out of the preseason. He’s been on and off of their active roster this season.

In 2016, Hurst has appeared in one game for the Bears but has yet to record a statistic.
