According to Adam Schefter, the Bears are re-signing S Deon Bush to a one-year, $1.4 million deal.
Bush has been a core depth and special teams player for the Bears and will presumably have a chance to compete for a starting job with the departure of Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.
Bush, 26, was drafted by the Bears in the fourth round out of Miami in 2016. He signed a four-year rookie contract worth $2.86 million and made a base salary of $720,000 in 2019.
In 2019, Bush appeared in 15 games for the Bears and recorded eight total tackles and two pass defenses.
