The Chicago Bears have signed LBย Jonathan Anderson and DL Caushaud Lyons to their practice squad and releasedย DB Alex Carter from the unit, according to Brad Biggs.
The Bears’ practice squad now consists of:
- OL Brandon Greene
- DB Doran Grant
- WR Nelson Spruce
- G Travis Averill
- WR Tanner Gentry
- WR Demarcus Ayers
- G Will Pericak
- TE Colin Thompson
- LBย Jonathan Anderson
- DL Caushaud Lyons
Anderson, 25, wound up signing on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of TCU back in May of 2015. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was later added to the team’s practice squad.
Anderson has been on and off of the team’s active roster since entering the NFL.
In 2017, Anderson has appeared in six games and recorded eight tackles and no sacks or interceptions for the Bears.
