The Chicago Bears announced that they’ve signed OL Dylan Gandy and waived DE Jamil Merrell Friday night.

Gandy, 32, is a former fourth-round selection of the Colts. He spent three years in Indianapolis before he later signed on with the Lions as an unrestricted free agent back in 2009.
Last year, he appeared in 15 games for Detroit, but only managed to play 15 total snaps for them.
