The Chicago Bears announced Friday that they’ve re-signed RB Kerrith Whyte Jr. to their practice squad.
Hereโs the Bears updated practice squad:
- OL Alex Bars
- QB Tyler Bray
- DB Stephen Denmark
- LB Jonathan Harris
- TE Jesper Horsted
- WR Thomas Ives
- DB Michael Joseph
- OL Sam Mustipher
- RB Ryan Nall
- RB Kerrith Whyte Jr.
Whyte, 22, was selected in the seventh round of this year’s draft by the Bears. He agreed to a four-year, $2.6 million contract and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.
However, Chicago elected to waive Whyte on Thursday.
During his four-year college career at FAU, Whyte rushed for 1,358 yards on 232 carries to go along with 22 receptions for 227 yards receiving and 13 touchdowns over the course of 37 games.
