Bears Worked Out Seven Players Including G Josh Garnett

According to Howard Balzer, the Bears worked out seven players on Tuesday including G Josh Garnett. 

The full list of tryouts includes:

1. OT Lanard Bonner
2. TE Darion Clark 
3. TE Alize Mack
4. G Josh Garnett
5. WR Geno Lewis 
6. WR Alex Wesley
7. RB William Stanback 

Of this group, the Bears signed Wesley to their practice squad on Wednesday. 

Garnett, 25, is a former first-round pick by the 49ers in the 2016 NFL Draft. He was entering the second year of a four year $9.304 million rookie contract when the 49ers waived him coming out of the preseason. 

Garnett has worked his way back from an offseason knee scope and has tried out for the Raiders, Broncos, Texans, Titans and Packers since becoming a free agent.

In 2018, Garnett appeared in seven games for the 49ers.
