Jason La Canfora of CBS Sportsย reports that free agent QB Josh Johnson is visiting with the Bengals on Thursday.
Johnson, 28,ย is a former fifth round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2012. Since then, he’s played for a number of teams including the Browns, Bengals, Chargers, and 49ers.
Last year,ย Johnsonย signed a one-year contract with the 49ers back in May, but wound up being the team’s No. 3 quarterbackย behindย Blaine Gabbert.
Johnson hasn’t appeared in an NFLย game since the 2013 season while playing for the Bengals.
