The Cincinnati Bengals officially placed RB Tra Carson on injured reserve after passing through waivers unclaimed.
Carson, 25, originally signed on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M back in 2016. After being waived and signed to their practice squad, Carson was eventually promoted to the Bengals’ active roster.
Carson is entering the final year of a three-year, $1.47 million contract and is set to make a base salary of $630,000 this season.
In 2018, he has appeared in two games for the Bengals but has not recorded any statistics.
