The Cincinnati Bengals have re-signed DL Anthony Zettel to their active roster on Wednesday and waived WR Damion Willis, per Paul Dehner Jr.
Regarding Willis, Bengals HC Zac Taylor said they still want to keep him around in some capacity.
Zettel, 27, is a former sixth-round pick of the Lions back in 2016. He was entering the third year of his four-year, $2.463 million rookie contract when Detroit cut him loose at the start of the 2018 season.
The Browns quickly claimed him off waivers where he finished out the year. He was among Cleveland’s final roster cuts this preseason and he’s been on and off of the Bengals’ roster this season.
In 2018, Zettel appeared 15 games for the Browns and recorded 14 total tackles, three tackles for loss, and no sacks.
